10月10日より開催される国際美術展「TOKYO ATLAS」の関連企画として、WHAT MUSEUMで開催される「座標」に野村在が参加いたします。
関連企画「座標」は、東京都がこれまで支援してきたアーティストやキュレーターを紹介し、その活躍を後押しすることを目的とした展覧会です。
TOKYO ATLASという国際的な舞台において、それぞれの活動の軌跡や現在地、多様な視点や実践が集積し、交差することで、新たな座標を描き出すことを目指します。

As part of the affiliated program of the international art exhibition “TOKYO ATLAS” opening on October 10, Zai Nomura will participate in “Coordinates” held at WHAT MUSEUM.
Related exhibition Coordinates aims to showcase the artists and curators supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and to encourage their future careers to flourish.

2009 年ロンドン大学ゴールドスミス校 MFA 取得
2013 年武蔵野美術大学造形研究博士後期課程 造形芸術専攻作品制作研究領域修了
彫刻や写真、機械装置、パフォーマンスなど多様な手法を用い、異なる素材を組み合わせながら、人間の意識に残り続ける過ぎ去った人々の存在感を可視化し、命の儚さと確かさ、不在の切なさと存在の尊さといった相反する感覚を表現している。

Using diverse media such as sculpture, photography, mechanical devices, and performance, and combining contrasting materials, Nomura visualizes the lingering presence of those who have passed, still remaining in ones memory, expressing the fragility and certainty of life, as well as the conflicting emotions of the sorrow of absence and the preciousness of existence.
